Error
The provider could not be reached
Why Draggy got no answer from a cloud provider or a local server, and what to check.
What it means
Draggy sent the message to the provider and got nothing back: no connection, a name that did not resolve, or a server that was not listening. For a cloud provider, that is usually the network. For a local server such as Ollama or LM Studio, it is usually the server not running.
What to do
- Check that this computer is online, then send the message again.
- For a local server, start it, then press Scan in
Settings → Providers. - For a custom server, check its Address under Advanced in the provider's row.
- A VPN, proxy or firewall can block one provider and not others. Try without it.
Still stuck
Settings → Data → Open log folder has the logs, and app.log is safe to share. Open an issue with the message you saw and that log, or read Troubleshooting.
