The model engine could not be started

Draggy could not launch the engine, and gave no further reason.

What it means

Draggy runs a small engine program to run models. Launching it failed and nothing said why. The usual cause is that the program is missing, or was quarantined or blocked by security software.

What to do

• Restart Draggy and try again.
• Look in your security software's quarantine for llama-server, and allow it.
• Reinstall Draggy if the engine is gone. Your chats and models are kept.

Still stuck

Settings → Data → Open log folder has the logs, and app.log is safe to share. Open an issue with the message you saw and that log, or read Troubleshooting.
