The plan's allowance is used up for now

Why a ChatGPT, Claude or Google plan stops answering for a while, and when it comes back.

What it means

A plan comes with an allowance for each stretch of time, set by the company. It has been used up. When the company says when it resets, the message gives the time.

What to do

• Wait for the reset, then send the message again.
• For ChatGPT, the row in Settings → Providers shows how much of each window is used.
• Meanwhile, pick another model from the menu: another provider, or one on this computer.

Still stuck

Settings → Data → Open log folder has the logs, and app.log is safe to share. Open an issue with the message you saw and that log, or read Troubleshooting.
