Chat and Code
Two sides, each with its own history, model and settings.
The switch at the top of the sidebar moves between them. The speech bubble is Chat; the angle brackets are Code.
Nothing set on one side reaches the other. Chat cannot touch a file of yours beyond the ones you attach. Code works inside one folder and shows every change as a diff.

Theme, language, installed models, extensions, skills, statistics and updates are shared, because they are about the app rather than the work.

When a conversation gets long
At 60% of what the model can hold, the earlier part is folded into notes and the conversation carries on. Nothing is deleted: every message stays on screen and stays searchable.
/compact does it now. /compact-limit 20k moves the
point, and auto puts it back.
